How do I change or turn off the MG II RGB lights and red warning light?
Short-press the Power On/Off button to change the RGB light setting or turn the light off. Double-press the same button to turn the red warning flash on or off.

Change the RGB light or turn it off
- Turn on MG II.
- Short-press the Power On/Off button. The official manual identifies this control as the light switch.
- Short-press again as needed until you reach the light setting you prefer, or the light-off setting. MG II has steady and breathing RGB light settings.
Use the red warning flash
- With MG II on, double-press the Power On/Off button.
- The red warning flash turns on. Double-press the same button again to turn it off.
Common mistakes to check
- Holding the button instead of pressing it briefly: a long press of about three seconds is the power on/off control, not the regular light control.
- Using the EQ button: EQ changes the sound setting. Use the Power On/Off button for the lights.
- Expecting the red warning flash from a short press: the manual calls for a double press for the SOS red flashing light.
- Trying to conserve battery with the lights on: turn the lights off when you do not need them; lighting can reduce playtime.
When to contact support
